How Does It Work?
Micro-needling is a Collagen Induction Therapy, a procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles in order to promote the production of collagen in the skin. LIVRA MD WITH PROCELL IS BETTER THAN MICRO NEEDLING PEN
They designed the shape of their machine to be much different from the others on the market. It fits ergonomically in the hand resulting in much less operator fatigue. By placing the motor at right angles to the back and forth direction of the needle tip, we are able to more efficiently transfer the power of the motor to this linear motion. This allows for fewer internal “connections” which wear over time, leading to the higher rates of failure seen in other linear-style devices.

Because of their powerful motor, they are able to use much larger-sized needle tips resulting in dramatically faster treatment times. This becomes especially important when treating larger areas such as the entire face or scalp, or treating the trunk and extremities.

Their tips were also designed so there would be no risk of backflow of fluids causing cross-contamination, which has been a problem with the other “pen-style” machines.

Their larger sized tips also allow for a tapping, rather than a dragging, motion which creates a nice vertical pattern of micro-channels in the skin.
